Toyota Headquarters Moving to Plano, Texas

Toyota is officially packing up their belongings and heading to Plano, Texas. The company has announced that they will be moving their headquarters to Plano, along with many of their departments, creating a shared campus that will promote collaboration. Scheduled to open in 2017, the headquarters will take three years to build and require over 4,000 employees to relocate to Texas, bringing most of the company together for the first time in years.

Could Toyota Cut Ties with Subaru for BMW?

There's a new rumor going around that Toyota may be thinking about axing their partnership with Subaru and starting up a new deal with German automaker BMW. The high-end car brand is already working with Toyota on a new sports car project, which could make the switch an easy transition, and the project's chief engineer, Tetsuya Tada, recently announced that the company could be brought in for additional projects, leading many to wonder if Subaru could be heading for the door.

Toyota Engineers Compete in Rally Racing

Toyota is well-known for their high-quality cars, trucks and SUVs, but very few people are aware that the automaker also has its own rally team comprised solely of Toyota team members. Hailing from the company's R&D facility in Ann Arbor, Mich., the Toyota Technical Center Rally Team has been competing in races for over eight years and even tried their hand at stage rally in 2007. That was the one and only year the team attempted to compete on the platform, but come July 18, the team will be returning to stage rally once again.
